No Reservations Travel Club

Name:
Location: Sacramento, California, United States

Started as a club for budget and independent travelers, we have been in existence since July, 2001. We meet at 7:00 pm the first Tuesday of each month, February-December, at the Arcade Public Library Community Room, 2443 Marconi Avenue, as a library sponsored program. The meetings feature a speaker, plus time for exchanging information within the group. There are no membership dues. The second Tuesday of each month we have dinner at an ethnic restaurant. Each summer we have a potluck dinner at my home. In 2005 I added club tours to our activites and they have been very successful. To be added to the e-mail list, or for further information, contact Judith Anshin by e-mail at penguinatlaw@gmail.com and please put "travel club" in the subject line.

August Meeting

The August meeting of the club is Tuesday, August 1st at 7 pm at the Arcade Library Community Room.  Our presenter is Marcia Jaffee of the Bali Institute for Global Renewal, and she will speak about the work of the organization as well as the sites in Bali.  This is a different presentation than our usual travel only talks, so it should be quite interesting.

Looking for Snorkelers

Another club member and I are doing a snorkeling trip to Yap and Palau in April, 2018.  The snorkeling in these places is outstanding, from people I know who have been, so I am inviting anyone else who might be interested to join us.
Contact Seaforyourself.com to get information on the trip.  It would be fun for a small group of us from No Reservations to be on the trip together!
